Killing Joke – London, 1980

$37.27 AUD

On October 23 and 24, 1980, Killing Joke performed two nights at the Clarendon Hotel in Hammersmith, London, during the incendiary early phase of their career. With their self-titled debut album released that same month, the band were crystallising a sound that fused post-punk aggression with industrial weight and tribal rhythms.

These Hammersmith shows captured Killing Joke at ground level, building a cult following through volume, tension and atmosphere rather than mainstream exposure. The Clarendon dates stand as a snapshot of the band before global recognition, when their live presence felt confrontational, immersive and uncompromising.
