Elvis Costello - The Bottom Line, NYC, December 1977

R$94.28

My Aim Is True was recorded at Pathway Studios in Islington on a budget of under £2,000 and released on Stiff Records in the UK in July 1977; Columbia picked it up for North American distribution.

The album was made without The Attractions, who had not yet formed: the backing band was Clover, a California country-rock group that did not tour with Costello.

By the December Bottom Line dates in Greenwich Village, The Attractions, Steve Nieve, Bruce Thomas, and Pete Thomas, were in place and a second album, This Year's Model, was already in progress.
