Led Zeppelin - The Civic Auditorium, Honolulu, 1971

$25.66 CAD

The Civic Auditorium dates on September 16 and 17, presented by KPOI radio, place Led Zeppelin in Hawaii during the North American leg of their 1969 tour supporting Led Zeppelin II, recorded across multiple studios including A&R in New York and Mystic in Los Angeles and released on Atlantic in October of that year.

The band had formed from the remnants of the Yardbirds in 1968; Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, Robert Plant, and John Bonham recorded the debut album in approximately 36 hours. At five dollars advance, the Civic Auditorium shows came before the band moved to arenas; by 1973 they were filling Madison Square Garden across multiple nights.
