Curve 1991

€22.92

On Thursday, December 5, 1991, Curve took the stage amid the surge of early 90s alternative and industrial-leaning rock that followed the release of their debut album Doppelgänger. Fronted by Toni Halliday and powered by Dean Garcia’s dense, metallic production, Curve fused shoegaze textures with electronic rhythm programming and a harder-edged attack.

By late 1991, singles like “Fait Accompli” and “Horror Head” had positioned them as one of the UK’s most forward-thinking acts. This date captures Curve during their breakthrough phase, when their hybrid of distortion, atmosphere and precision felt both aggressive and meticulously controlled.
