David Bowie - Serious Moonlight Tour

€16.03

The Serious Moonlight tour opened in Brussels at the Forest National in May 1983, two weeks after Let's Dance arrived on EMI America. Nile Rodgers produced the album at the Power Station in New York; Stevie Ray Vaughan, then largely unknown outside Texas, played lead guitar on the record but did not tour with Bowie.

The band Bowie assembled for Serious Moonlight included Earl Slick on guitar, Carmine Rojas on bass, and backing vocalists Frank Simms and George Simms. The tour ran 96 dates across five continents and became the highest-grossing of his career to that point.
