On Monday September 28, 1981, Divine headlined Heaven under the Arches, Villiers Street, Charing Cross, presented by Final Solution & Heaven. Sharing the bill with Dead or Alive, The Drowning Craze and special guests including Pink Flamingos, the night fused high camp, new wave and dancefloor theatrics.
A staple of London’s alternative club culture, Heaven provided the perfect setting for Divine’s larger-than-life presence and underground glamour.
