The Düsseldorf Philipshalle date in June 1976 was part of the Rastaman Vibration tour, supporting the Island Records LP of the same name, the first Marley album to break the US Top 10.
The live band included the Barrett brothers, Al Anderson on lead guitar, Tyrone Downie on keyboards, and the I Threes. Island's Chris Blackwell had been working with Marley since Catch a Fire in 1972.
