The Beat - Live at The Euphoria
The Beat formed in Birmingham in 1978 and released their debut single, a cover of Smokey Robinson's "Tears of a Clown," on 2 Tone Records in October 1979. Their first album, I Just Can't Stop It, appeared on Go-Feet Records in 1980; in North America the band performed as The English Beat to avoid confusion with an existing US act.
The lineup combined ska, rocksteady, and pop structures across a seven-piece including toaster Ranking Roger and Saxa, a Jamaican saxophonist who had played in the UK since the early 1960s. Wha'ppen, their second album, had been released earlier in 1981.
This Tee is made from thick, super soft 100% cotton, this Comfort Colors Garment-Dyed Heavyweight T-Shirt comes in a range of colours and sizes.
