Broadcast
Formed in Birmingham in the mid-1990s, Broadcast developed a sound shaped by analogue electronics, psychedelic textures, and retro-futurist pop structures. Blending motorik rhythms with hazy, layered production, the group’s recordings carried a distinctly cinematic quality.
Across releases in the late 90s and 2000s, Broadcast became closely associated with the intersection of experimental electronics and dreamlike pop composition. RIP Trish Keenan.
